Zen Parenting Radio is not so much about parenting, rather it’s mostly about self-awareness. Typically Cathy and I share our experiences of how we both can become more self-aware, but every now and again we invite guests to be interviewed. This week we invited two leaders of The Mankind Project to explaining what MKP is all about. MKP is a global brotherhood that conducts challenging and highly rewarding programs for men at every stage of life. We dive deep into what men’s work is, shadows, emotional intelligence, and the danger of phrases like “man up” and “boys don’t cry.” We also discuss how relationships can be affected as a result of men working on themselves. Our goal was to:
- Explain “men’s work”
- Give our listeners some of the benefits that result from MKP’s flagship program- The New Warrior Training Adventure (NWTA).
